Abstract: Change to the Demands Made of the Teaching Profession and the Ambiguity of New Conceptpp. This paper is concerned with concepts such as quality of education, evaluation of the standard of the work of the teacher and comparison of educational resultpp. It points to the importance of standards and the difficulties involved in their implementation. It also discusses the concept of competence and its relevance to framework educational programmes and the further education of teacherpp. The paper also focuses on a number of trends in education that are less widely discussed: instability – permanent change, reduction of education, emphasis on topicality and practical applicability, underestimation of the system, etc. The final part of the paper presents a current project from the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport of the Czech Republic – a proposal for career progression.

Abstract: Cyber Bullying as a Current Problem in Contemporary Family Education. This study presents the commonest sources and occurrences of cyber bullying and points to modern methods of bullying. It deals with attacks featuring modern information technology among children, young people and siblings in families and schoolpp. The study also reflects methods of cyber attackpp. In conclusion, it suggests measures that may be taken against cyber bullying in the family and school environment, as well as technical proposals for the prevention of cyber bullying with the help of outside bodie.

Abstract: How Ethnicisation Issues Related to Roma Communities Effect the Perception of Roma People by Future Secondary School Teacherpp. This article is concerned with the ethnicisation of issues relating to the socially maladjusted communities made up largely by members of the Roma minority. This ethnicisation is put into context with the current discourse about the Roma people and closely related to the symbolic form of the social exclusion of the Roma people by the majority Czech population. Part of this discourse is recorded here in connection with research into the attitudes toward the Roma people held by university students – future secondary school teacherpp. The research results are compared with a number of similar pieces of research in this area conducted in the past.
