Abstract: Analysis of Functioning the School Council at Primary School. The topic of the contribution is pupil participation in school life. In this framework we will focus on student councils, which represent one of the possible forms of pupil participation. The study analyzes the foundation and the existence of student council at selected primary school using the modified Lagerwei model phases of change procespp. In the text we present a comprehensive view on the functioning of student council, as we confront the data relating to its activities obtained from the schoolhead, teachers and pupilpp. The study focuses primarily on the researchers dealing with the issue of pupil participation but its’ focus brings ideas and inspiration also for other professionals and for school practice.

Abstract: Lifelong Learning in the Environment of Cultural Institution and its Value. The paper sets a task to stress the potential of Culture Education in a process of Lifelong Learning. Educational activities of few cultural institutions are going to be presented. The text is also going to pay attention to specific functions of culture in human life and Culture Education is going to be introduced as a specific field that has unexceptionable position in contemporary educational system as well as a long tradition although its potential is rather neglected as far.

Abstract: Motivation in Senior Education. At present, the issue of senior education quite distinctly exceeds the framework of educational sciences and acquires interdisciplinary character. The paper deals with the analysis of one of the most important aspects of the process of senior education - motivation. The author´ s consideration is based on the changing view on the significance of senior education, and he analyses the specific features of motivation in relation to ageing strategies.

Abstract: Concept, Structure and Research of Didactics of Practical Education Within the Supplementary Pedagogical Studies of Teaching of Practical Subjects at the Faculty of Education of Masaryk University. This study is focused on the concept, structure, innovation and research subject didactics in teaching practical framework of a supplementary pedagogical study teaching practical lessons for secondary vocational schools at the Pedagogical Faculty of Masaryk University in Brno. The core of this paper is to report on research methods in educational work of teachers training technical subjects in secondary schools and information about the innovation concept and structure of the course.
