This study explores opinions and attitudes of heterosexuals on the right of homosexual couplesto marry and raise children. The study reflects the benefits of children, brought up by gay parents. The study also provides a concise probe into the empirical research problems. The research sample consisted of 342 participants who identified themselves as heterosexual. Most respondents stated that they supported the right of homosexual couples to marry, however, recognition of the right to adopt children by homosexual couples was met with a rather unfavorable opinion. Disapprovement to the equal parental rights for homosexual couples based mainly on concerns about the children growing up and being raised by homosexual parents.
