The paper is designed as a review article on the issue of physical activities management system in the Czech Republic from the ontogenetic point of view. Obesity and overweight represent serious issues not only in the Czech Republic, but also abroad. One of the causes of these issues is a lack of physical activity. We explain the term physical literacy which is closely connected to active lifestyle. We characterize the system of influencing physical activities in particular age groups based on milestones in school education. We focus on educational institutions and their general objectives and curricular documents. We chose an example of lifelong physical activities management system from abroad (Canada) and we compare it with possibilities and system in the Czech Republic.
